Evelyn Lyles

HAUGHTON, LA – Services celebrating the life of Evelyn Lyles, known to all as Nanny, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Benjamin Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was a loving and wonderful Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend… “I love you a bushel and a peck.”

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mildred Palmisano, husband John Lyles, brother Charles L. Palmisano and sister Elizabeth Rose Myer.

She is survived by her daughter Sylvia Andrews (Sonny), grandchildren Christina Andrews and Scott Andrews (Lori), great grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth (Mike Golden), April Allen (Shane), Mitchell Branch (Ashley), Chealsea Hillman, Lacey Andrews (Casey McCoy) and Cadey Andrews(Paul Cox) and ten great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Weldon, Stephen Smith, Ronny Golden, Larry Arnold, Lloyd Deverts and David Deverts.
