Eva Allison Grant

Bossier City, LA

A celebration of life service of Eva A. Grant, 89, will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.

Eva was a member of Pinehill Baptist Church in Leesville, LA, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter 130, the Order of the Amaranth, and the Daughters of the Nile. She loved sewing, crocheting and working in her garden.

Mrs. Grant is preceded in death by her husband, Ped K. Grant, her parents, Jesse Lea and Edmond L. Allison, brothers, Thurmon, Arnold, and Harmon Allison, daughter, Shirley Grant Loyd, and grandson Stacy Gene Loyd. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Charlotte Grant Dennis, son Michael Ped Grant and wife Carolyn, sister, Edith Allison Ramsey, brother, Alton Allison, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons: Austin Fagan, Wesley Harper, Mark Sonnier, II, Ethan Sonnier, Zachary Sonnier, Conner Sonnier, and honorary pallbearer will be Zachary Loyd

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Riverview Care Center, Christus Schumpert Highland Medical Center and Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Memorial may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children or the American Cancer Society.
