Doc was a loving man that never met a stranger. He created a lifestyle that was admired by all he met. He was the youngest of ten children born in Savannah, Georgia but raised in Westlake, Louisiana which he called home. Doc graduated from Westlake High School and then from McNeese State University, he was always sharp and quick-witted. In Westlake he met the love of his life Antonette (Teaux-Teaux) Lovett. The two were married in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1987 and the rest is history. Having a blended family of five beautiful children who Doc cherished and gave everything he had. The family settled in northwest Louisiana where they created a lifestyle of their own. Here his children gave him six gorgeous grandchildren. Doc's family went much beyond who was born into it and he welcomed all friends to become family. His friends and family were his passion in life and he cherished every moment he spent with them. Later in life he loved to travel for work and enjoyed the frivolous things in life. Up until the end he protected everyone around him making sure all were taken care of and loved.
