Debra Roussel Mason

Debbie was born November 8, 1957 in Lutcher, LA to Gerald and Mary Grace Roussel. Debbie traveled her younger years with her military family, finally settling in Bossier City in 1967. She graduated from Airline High School in 1976. Debbie was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. Her faith and family kept her in contact with Msgr. Earl Provenza, a friendship which she adored.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother; and sister-in-law, Nancy Roussel.

Debbie is survived by her loving best friend and husband of 22 years, Robert Mason; daughter, Carla Poole and husband Kevin; sister, Maxine Motel and husband Robert; brothers, Carl Roussel and wife Rosie Lyn (her earthly angel), Larry Roussel, and John Roussel and wife Lori; grandson, Hunter; granddaughters, Mikah and Rae'lynn; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Debbie will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will begin at 10:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am and burial at Hill Crest Park with Deacon Ricardo Rivera officiating.

Pallbearers will be JD Smith, Bruce Roussel, Joe Provenza, Carl Roussel, Larry Roussel and John Roussel. Honorary pallbearers will be Vince Maggio and Mike Williams.
