David was a graduate of Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Business Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. He graduated Suma Cum Laude. While in the military he completed some of his studies at the University of Maryland and University of London. He was a proud member of the USAF and retired as an E-9 Chief Master Sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran having served at Da Nang AFB, Vietnam. After his military service he worked for the Frymaster Corp of Shreveport and then Garland Industries of Pennsylvania, serving as their Worldwide Director of Technical Services. After retirement he enjoyed playing golf as often as he could. He especially loved playing golf with his sons, whom he adored and was so very proud of.
David is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Georgia; his two sons, Mike and Rick; Rick's wife, Lea; and his granddaughter, Presley, who was truly the apple of his eye and his partner in mischievous activity.
At Dave's request there will be no service. Special thanks to the Gentiva Hospice for the care and support they provided Dave and his family. Should you desire, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
