Brenda found joy in tending to her garden; the flowers and plants created a happy place for her. She had an incredibly green thumb, she even tended to flowers at her church for quite some time. Brenda also found peace in bird watching, often spending quiet moments outdoors, watching the birds flutter as she admired nature’s beauty. She loved God with all her heart and she could often be found reading her bible. She was very active in her church and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Brenda took great pride in her family and cherished every moment she got to spend with them.
Brenda joins in Heaven her parents, Maurice and Lois Rowell James; sister, Georgia Karen James; daughters, Christina Edwards Hutchinson and Ronnita Edwards; and granddaughter, Hope LeBeouf.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bridger Edwards; daughter, Stephanie Hurry; sister, Melissa Coker; brother, Keven James; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Honoring Brenda as pallbearers will be Bridger Edwards, Bridger A. Edwards, Keven James, Derek Maples, Mike Smith and Clint Walton.
Visitation for Brenda will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00am at Pentecostals of Bossier City, 2833 Viking Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana 71111, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00am. A graveside service will follow at Drakes Fork Cemetery, in Pitkin, Louisiana at 3:30pm.
