Angela Marie Carter

Angie loved the Lord, her country, her family, and her weenie dogs. She was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed traveling the countryside to show antique cars with her husband Lloyd, camping with friends, reading, cooking, Appaloosa horses, watching the fall colors filter in with a cup of coffee, admiring the hummingbirds swarming her feeders, and her Wolverine Football.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Zenith and Ruth, Stepmother Carolyn, Sister Viva, Stepson Greg, and Her loving husband Lloyd.

She is survived by her daughter Brittany and fiance’ Michael Ross; sister and brother-in-law Tina and Vince Denman; Brother and Sister-in-Law John and Monica Hollenbaugh; Brother Les Hollenbaugh; Brother Robert “Bob” Hollenbaugh; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank Twyla and Rex Musgrove, Krista Neyman and Troy Roberts, Emily and staff from Hillcrest Funeral Home, Pastor Harold Coburn, Louis & Glenda McGinty, the Patriot Guard Riders, and her brother John for being a tower of support.

Visitation will be held to celebrate Angie’s life at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton on Sunday, September 29th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with Reverend Harold Coburn officiating. Interment will follow the next morning at 11:30 a.m. at the NW Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville.

It is difficult to imagine how hard life is going to be without her now, but we are comforted knowing we have so much love and support from her amazing friends and family.
