Ada Kathryn Howell Perkins, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Garden Park Nursing Home in Shreveport, LA.
Kathryn was born on October 28, 1925 to the late James and Nettie Abernathy. She worked many years for the State of Mississippi and later retired from FEMA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, E.B. Howell, Jr.; daughter, Valerie Dawn Howell Williamson; parents; and sister, Barbara Covington.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Sheila Phillips; sister, Peggy Dickard Washington (Jim); 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
