Learning of Bill’s passing bring sadness along with many memories of our youth together.  My brother Tom and I shared a number of years with Bill and his brother Dick, playing each sport in season, spending hours in the woods with our bb guns, and simply hanging out at each other’s homes.  Dick and I the same age, Bill one year older, and Tom two years older.
After “sleeping out” in the field beyond our house, we set the field on fire the next afternoon (Fire Department put it out); played Little League baseball at North Sharon Ballfield; got chased from Patagonia Fire Hall when we shouted “Bingo” a few times into a window on a Friday night Bingo Night (only Bill got caught); met Dick Groat and Frank Thomas at Beckdol’s Sporting Goods, and when Bill was asked if he wanted to ask a question, he replied, “No, but Dick will”  -- and I did.  And spent many hours simply being together by Noga’s Gas Station, around that area, and throughout Patagonia.
Always a gentle, solid person, a true friend, a good person who made a positive difference for others in this world.  Thank you, Bill, thank you, Dick, and thank you Glaser Family.  I’m a better person in this life in large part because of you.

Back in the sixties, Bill and I worked the Snow Cone Truck for a whole summer.  The truck had missing teeth in the flywheel.  When we would stop and  the missing teeth were next to the starter gear, Bill would have to crawl under the truck and use a tire iron to turn the flywheel.  We tried coasting a hill, but the automatic transmission would not engage the engine.   We had some busy times on the truck, especially at playgrounds.  The truck had an ice maker that ran off a lawnmower engine that we had to pull to start.
in the morning, we would pick up ice downtown Sharon, and start out on a long day.  Bill taught me how to make change and a lot of other things.  He once told me, "I taught you everything I know, and you still don't know nothin'".  Much gratitude for the good times.

My sincere condolences to Bill’s family. May it help to know others care. I will always remember the good times we had together on the farm in our younger years. He always had a smile going on. 

Always enjoyed time spent with Family. Will always remember good times spent with Uncle Bill when we were ether visiting in Harrisburg or the family was up home in Sharon visiting. Very fond memories. You will be terribly be missed. Rest in Heaven Uncle Bill.

(Metz) Glaser, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, James Glaser, Richard Glaser &amp; his wife, Marcia (Kearns) Glaser; his sister, Sally Dufford and husband, Robert Dufford; his niece, Barbara Parker, his brother-in-law, John Donaldson; a stepson, Earl Coleman III, two sisters-in-law, Vicky and Tamy, and a brother-in-law, Tim.
