Mary C. Lawrence, 87, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at Capital Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born July 10, 1935, in Freeland; she was daughter of the late Phillip and Anna (Santoro) Mattriccino; and preceded in death by her husband, John T. Lawrence; and daughter, Mariann Lawrence. Mary was a retired sales clerk for Sears Department Store and a graduate of St. Ann’s Catholic High School, Freeland. She was a devout Catholic, being a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where her children were baptized, Holy Family Catholic Church, and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Mary is survived by her daughter, Cathy Watlington; two sons, John Lawrence (Carmilla) and Thomas Lawrence (Andrea); 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM, Friday, July 29, 2022, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
