Mario Ippolito Sr.

Mario Ippolito, Sr., 70, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, in his home. Born August, 1, 1954, in Rose, Providence of Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Rosaria (Boschelli) Ippolito. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Pasquale Ippolito and Miguel Ippolito, and his sister, Jean Toro.

Surviving Mario are three sons, Mario Ippolito, Jr., Deivis Jose Ippolito-Patino, and Darwin Ippolito, Sr.; five grandchildren, Darwin Ippolito, Jr., Axzavior Ippolito-Patino, Diaziya Ippolito-Patino, Deisyel Ippolito-Patino, and Deivis Jose Ippolito-Patino, Jr.; two brothers, Vicente Ippolito and Luis Pugliese, and his sister, Gemma Neve.

Mario retired from Naples Pizza in Steelton and worked in various pizza restaurants in the Harrisburg area. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the American Poolplayers Association, and played with the RackJackers Pool Team.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am, Monday, November 25, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1439 Market Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held 2:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2024, and 9:30 am – 10:30 am, Monday, November 25, 2024, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg.
