Margaret A. Reed

Margaret A. Reed, 92, of Harrisburg passed away peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2013 in the Harrisburg Hospital. She was born January 15, 1921 in Lykens, PA, to the late Leland W. and Martha Seifert. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest P. Reed Jr.

She loved to travel, watching old movies and spending time with friends dining out. Margaret also created many family heirlooms in both ceramics and cross-stitch. Her real excitement in life was spending time with her son, Ernest S. Reed and his wife Patricia of Emmaus, PA, granddaughter, Diana Reed Harris and her husband, Brian Harris, great grandchildren Alex Matthew and Marley Reed Harris of Allentown, PA.

Margaret was a 50 year member of the Glen Chapter, No. 425, Order of The Eastern Star, Lykens, PA.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery's Chapel Mausoleum, 4855 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg. Burial will be in the cemetery.
