Linda J. Starr

Linda J. (Shover) Starr, 68, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born July 4, 1944 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Ruth (Miner) Shover.

Linda was an employee of the Hampton Inn Union Deposit and at the Department of Labor and Industry cafeteria service.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Starr and Tina Starr; sister, Dianna “Jill” Christian, of Harrisburg; and was preceded in death by a son Robert III and her sister Jacqueline R. Stuart. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Justin Starr of Harrisburg and Angela and Joshua Starr both of Carlisle; and two great-grandsons, Justine Starr Jr. and Dwayne Starr.

Linda’s loved to dance and listen to the music of the early 60’s

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, February 11, 2013 in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg.

A visitation will be held 6:00 pm Monday till time of service at the funeral home.
