Karen Lee Kute

She was born March 24, 1957 in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Shirley I. (Hutchinson) Livering; and preceded in death by her brother, Daryl Livering.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mark J. Kute; 3 daughters, Mandie Echols (Jimi), Jennie Gould (Michael) and Brittni Stuckey (Matthew); a son, Kelen Kute; 3 grandchildren, Zoie Echols, Carter Gould and Jack Stuckey; a sister, Margaret G. Strickler; and a brother, Charles Livering.

Karen cooked for the Swatara Junior High School and waitressed at several local restaurants for many years.

Karen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed the family trips to the beach, reading books, her dogs and tending to her garden and flowers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
