Frank H. Bomgardner, 88, of Penbrook, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, in his home. Born October 9, 1933, in Penbrook; he was the son of the late Edwin and Edith (Kinsey) Bomgardner; and was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin J. Bomgardner Jr.; and his sister, Beverly Mesloh. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy J. (Netzler) Bomgardner; 2 sons, Stephen A. Bomgardner (Judy) and Roger L. Bomgardner (Susan); 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Miller. Frank joined the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen, Local 71, Harrisburg, in 1956, retiring in 1995, with 39 years of service, where he served as Financial Secretary and Financial Treasurer for 33 years and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Frank was a member of the Penbrook VFW Post 1718 and the Marysville Elks Lodge. A visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
