

Florence was born August 18, 1936, in Pottsville, PA. She was the daughter of John and Marie Grace.
Florence is preceded in death and now in the arms of her beloved husband Jim (Charles J. Gordon, Sr.). Jim passed away way too soon on February 23, 1983. Florence is the last of her siblings (John Grace, Bob Grace, Marie Gerace, and Geraldine Freeman). A big party is happening in heaven now that they are all reunited!
Florence graduated from Nativity High School in Pottsville, PA. She worked in the banking industry, Blue Mountain School district, owned and operated a dog kennel, was a carrier for the Florida Federal Post Office and tagged along with good friend and farrier Colleen Voermans.

Her children: Jim (Charles J. Gordon, Jr) and wife Diane M. Gordon (Lititz, PA); Edward and wife Connie Gordon (Florida); Michael and wife Anna (Kitty) Gordon (Tennessee).
She was Nana to her grandchildren: Michael Gordon and wife Sarah Gordon (Ephrata, PA); Megan (Gordon) Wooden and husband Adam Wooden (Stevens, PA); Jimmy Gordon and wife Samantha Gordon (Lititz, PA.); Erin Gordon (Chicago, Il); Robin (Gordon) Carey and husband Connor Carey, (Ocala, FL); Becky Snyder (mother of) Joshua Gordon (Ocala, FL) and Marianne (Gordon) Ramos and husband Roberto Ramos (Dunellon, FL).
She was Great Nana to her great-grandchildren:
Benjamin Wooden, Samuel Wooden, Jaxon Gordon, Thomas Gordon, Henry Gordon, Fiona Gordon, Oliver Carey, Zaydin Ramos, Jaxtin Ramos, and Magnolia Ramos.
Florence was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz, PA. Florence greatly enjoyed animals, especially her horses. While living in Florida, she spent treasured time with friends leading trail rides well into her 80’s. Nana was known for writing personalized, touching messages in birthday cards that all looked forward to.
Memorial services will be announced at a future date and time. A private scattering of her ashes will follow at places she designated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Florence’s memory may be sent to Hospice and Community Care or The Ronald McDonald House.
