

Donald Charles Donagher Jr. passed away on March 19, 2025, in Mechanicsburg, PA, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 7, 1952, in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Donald Charles Donagher Sr. and Barbara Courtney (Beck). He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 44 years, Lynda Donagher (Attick), his brothers, John (Johnny) Donagher and Robert (Bobby) Campbell, and his sister, Joni Donagher. Donald is survived by his children: Melanie Foley (Thomas), Rhett Donagher (Susan), and Kyle Donagher (Becky); eight grandchildren: Samuel Foley, Bailey Foley (Aniela), Owen Foley, Caitlyn Foley, Atlas Donagher, Gemma Donagher, June Donagher, and Stella Donagher; his sister, Kathaleen Park (Jim); and his brother, Gerald Donagher (Stacey).
Donald was a proud veteran who honorably served in the Pennsylvania National Guard, always committed to his country. He spent over 40 years at the helm of Penn Credit Corporation, a successful local receivables management company. Outside of work, he had a deep passion for golf and cars, enjoying the thrill of both the sport and the open road. In his later years, he embraced a new adventure, earning his helicopter pilot’s license in 2015. Donald was also a devoted fan of both Penn State and the 49ers football teams.
Known for his vibrant personality, Donald had a special gift for making people laugh, often lightening the mood with one of his famous jokes. He also shared a special bond with his beloved "pups," being a true dog lover at heart.
Donald’s sharp wit and generous heart will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private gathering to celebrate his life will be held by his family.
A devoted supporter of various charitable causes, Donald was particularly passionate about creating opportunities for young people. In his honor, contributions may be made to the Youth Recreation Association, c/o Dan Calloway, 3005 Bernardo Lane, Riviera Beach, FL 33407.
