Born July 24, 1937 in Franklintown, York County; he was the son of the late Roy and Helen Hess.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Nancy A. (Byers) Hess; son, Richard E. Hess: and sister, Jean Kauffman.
Dean was a retired grounds keeper from the Central Dauphin School District, a former employee for
Dininni Construction and a former Auctioneer for Bud Wimer at Dutch Village and Linglestown.
Dean was a member of the Chambers Hill United Methodist Church.
Dean was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to go to yard sales.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
