Daniel Slaymaker Kauffman

He was born January 2, 1928 in Ronks, PA; he was the son of the late Amos S. and Priscilla (Stoltzfus) Kauffman.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth (Hollinger) Kauffman; daughter, Bonnie (Randy) Smith of Forest, VA; son, Doug Kauffman of Rosemont, MN; 7 grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Shelby Smith, Colton Smith, Caleb Kauffman, Eli Kauffman, Jonah Kauffman and Ethan Kauffman; 3 sisters, Mattie S. Stoltzfus of Ronks, Katie S. Beiler of Sarasota, FL, and Anna S. Stoltzfus of Jersey Shore; and 4 brothers, Levi S. Kauffman of Lancaster, John S. Kauffman of Womelsdorf, Melvin E. Kauffman of Newville, and Samuel D. Kauffman of New Holland. Deceased brothers: Jake M. Kauffman of Lancaster and Omar S. Kauffman of Strasburg.

Daniel was a retired owner and operator of Macro Enterprises, a corporation of four truck washes in PA.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2018 at West Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 740 Greentree Rd., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will be in the West Green Tree Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday, prior to the service at the church.
