San Benito, TX- Elisa Sosa Yanez, 75, of San Benito, quietly passed away at home in the loving care of her family on July 29, 2015.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, July 31, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and will continue until 9 p.m., with an evening Rosary Service to begin at 7 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel. All services will conclude on Saturday afternoon. As per the families wishes she will be buried at the Las Rusias Cemetery in San Benito, Texas. Mrs. Yanez was much loved and a loving wife of Mr. Manuel Yanez. The mother of Marin, Manuel Jr., Misael, Mario, Miguel, Nidia, Nensi, and Nilda. She was also survived by 26 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Her three brothers Benito Sosa, Tiodoro Sosa, and Angel Sosa. One sister Juanita Saldivar. Mrs. Yanez was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister Emerejilda Sosa Rivas, Emerejildo Sosa Rivas, Geronimo Sosa Rivas, and her daughter Nereida Yanez Sosa.
