Jose Luis Rios

JOSE LUIS RIOS “NINO”, Loving BROTHER, UNCLE and GODFATHER at the age of 64 years, of Hanford, California, entered into the arms of the Lord on March 6, 2016. He adored the company of his large family. Earlier in his life he liked taking long walks and meeting people. He enjoyed watching his favorite show “El Chavo” and watching movies. Although he didn’t have children of his own, he received great joy in watching his nieces and nephews play and grow. He was known as “Nino” and will be missed by many.

He was an overcomer of obstacles and a champion of life. Nino was a quiet man with a pleasantly calm smile; a tender and caring man with a gentle demeanor. He was efficaciously the epitome of thunderous silence in the most delightful way.

Though he has now joined his loved ones that preceded him in death, he will never be forgotten. His legacy and memory will live on through those lives he touched.

He is survived by two brothers, Francisco and Ruperto Rios; six sisters, Elidia Rios, Maria Rios, Mariana Hernandez, Emilia Pacheco, Socorro Gonzalez and Esperanza Rios; many nieces, nephews and MANY other family. He leaves us with an emptiness in our hearts. Rest in peace our Nino, we love you very much.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing service on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia; 700 N. Harris Street, Hanford, CA 93230 with burial following at Calvary Cemetery; 11680 S. 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.
