Jennifer Lynn Jones

Jennifer Jones, 33, of Hanford passed away February 5, 2013. She was surrounded by family when she went to be with the Lord. She was born to Gary and Lillian Jones of Alameda on May 14, 1979. Jennifer went to Edison Elementary school, Will C. Wood middle school and Alameda High School. She was a bookkeeper at Fastrip in Lemoore for 11 years before becoming ill. She always had a love for reading and truly loved her Stephen King novels. She never passed up a good horror movie. She loved being an Aunt. She was proud of all their accomplishments, enjoying a good laugh and just hanging out with them.

Jennifer is survived by sister Jessica DeWees of Lemoore, sister Anna Machado of Hanford, step mother Margarita Jones of Hercules, god sister Lizabeth Cosino of Oakland, god brother Ricky Gardner of Oakland, nephew Patrick Perez of Hanford, nieces Justina Patterson of Lemoore and Lillian Machado of Hanford. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents Gary and Lillian Jones, maternal grandparents Eugene & Louise Holland, paternal grandparents Howard and Dorothee Miller and god mother Luisa Gardner.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Hager at C Care for going above and beyond the call of duty. We would also like to thank Jennifer with Optimal Hospice for taking such good care of our sister. Many a thanks to Michelle and Chaplin Keith for all their support during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by People’s Funeral Chapel in Hanford. The memorial service will be held in the Bay Area; internment will follow at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
