Hannie Bob Sewell, Jr.

Bob was newly married and leaves behind his wife; Martha Torres. He also leaves behind his son; Hannie Brian Sewell and Marcie and his two grandsons; Hannie Brandon Sewell and Christopher Brian Sewell all of Hanford, California.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years; Martha Sue Sewell, his parents; Hannie Bob Sewell Sr. and Mary Ruby (Harrel) Sewell and his sister; Dana (Sewell) Rice.

After graduating from Hanford High School in 1959, Bob joined the U.S. Navy where he served until 1965. Upon being honorably discharged he went to work as a welder. After perfecting his welding skills he opened his own welding business, Kings Trailer and Welding, which he ran for about 26 years until his retirement in 2003.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Benevolence Fund of Glad Tidings Church; P.O. Box 89, Hanford, CA 93232.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery; 19811 S. Cedar Avenue, Laton, CA 93242.
