Donna Mae Howard

She lived a Christ centered life and desired to be a positive example by her actions and not mere words. One of her favorite verses in the Bible that fueled her lifestyle was Phil 2:3 “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others but be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests but take an interest in others too.” She definitely accomplished that by demonstrating a passion for God and compassion for people.

Donna was born on May 2,1950 in Los Angeles, CA. Her Dad and Mom; Donald and Frankie (Blaylock) Higgins are filled with joy, now that she has joined them in heaven.

After graduating from LIFE Bible College in 1973 she married Timothy Albert Howard and together, they committed their lives to serving God and helping anyone who crossed their path.

Donna was an integral part of the worship and mission teams at Valley Christian Center in Fresno Ca. from 1973 to 2001. She then became the Womens Pastor at Koinonia Church in Hanford Ca. from 2004-2018 During her life, she considered it a privileged to share the hope of Jesus in places like Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, India, Luxembourg and more.

Her husband; Timothy A Howard, Sons; Brad Timothy Howard, Eric Donald Howard, Grandson Drew Timothy Howard and her sister Cyndi Dobrinen have experienced a great void as they enter a new season without her physical presence but the gift of her life out-weights the grief of her death.

Her life is worthy of celebration!

On November 20, 2021 at Koinonia Church 12536 Hanford Armona Rd, Hanford, CA 93230. (559-582-1528), a gathering will take place at 10:30 am to recall and remember her legacy.

Pastor Tim Howard will oversee this special time since He has had the privilege of knowing his wife for 50 years and 48 years of marriage.
