In loving memory of Silas Benjamin Cameron, 14, whose radiant smile illuminated every room. Despite facing severe neurological challenges since toddlerhood due to HLH, he embraced life for 12 more years as a beacon of strength and "differently abled" grace. He died from RSV lung complications, surrounded by his family on December 20, 2023.
Silas was born on August 31, 2009, in Newport News, VA, to Jon and Jennifer Cameron. He leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by his parents, Jon and Jennifer Cameron of Newport News, VA. Silas is survived by his siblings, Chelsea Dryden (husband, Jacob Dryden, and daughter, Emilia Dryden) of Seaford, VA, Jon Cameron Jr. of Newport News, VA, and Hailey Cameron of Newport News, VA, his grandparents Trudy Lane of Newport News, VA, and Harry Malcom (“Mal”) and Mary Cameron of Pleasanton, CA, as well as a large extended family. Silas is preceded in death by his brother, Carter Harrison Lane Cameron, and his grandfather, John Edward Lane.
