Russell Brown, age of 75 was born to eternal life on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend of many. Russell had a smile that could light up a room. He was a man of integrity, he did not know a stranger, he greatly enjoyed helping others and most importantly he was a blessing to many.
Russell was born on May 25, 1947, in Accomack, Virginia to Mary Brown and Hillary Author Justice. Russell was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the U. S. Post Office. Russell then pursued his true passion and began his own company, Ashleigh Construction LLC, He was a member of St. James Methodist Church where he served in many different leadership roles until his passing.
Russell is survived by his wife of 55 years, Althea Brown & Family; their daughter Samantha Brown, their son Russell Brown Jr., daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
The Brown Family will be receiving visitation at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home 2551 North Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia 23666 from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at St. James Methodist Church, 1533 West Queen Street, Hampton, Virginia 23669 at 11:00am.
Finally, the family extends their sincere appreciation for all the prayers and support during this difficult time.
