We were so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

We were truly sorry to hear of Bobby's passing.  The shared memories at the funeral reminded us of the man we knew and were very glad to have as a friend.  From the bowling memories at Victory Lanes and the special golf outing he set up for Dale and Greg at Williamsburg Country Club, Bobby was the sportsman.  Our experience with him as a builder in a remodeling we did at the house has been the most enjoyable home construction experience we've every had.  By the time we started construction, he seemed to know exactly what our vision was for the edition and it turned out exactly like that.  We had not seen much of Bobby lately but thought about him and Carolyn often.  Both, as well as the rest of the family, will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.  Kay and Greg Tschupp

Carolyn....Heaven is richer. We remember Bobby from our 'Old-timers' softball days in Poquoson. ( You had to be at least 30 years old ) He was a great person and we look forward to seeing him again one day.

I know what you and your family are going through. I lost my wife, Cathy, on July 19th. We had been married 37 years. I grew up with Bobby in Greenwood Farms and went to the same high school. Bobby was a great friend during those years. You could see his character even in his younger days. He will be misssed.

I met Bobby through Williamsburg Country Club and worked closely with him as the Golf & Grounds Chairman.  He was truly a genuine person and treated everyone around him in kind.  I am very proud to have known him.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My husband and I met Bobby 12 years ago when we were looking for a custom home builder.  We knew he was the man for the job the instant we met.  Bobby was an inspiration--he was kind, sincere, and truly genuine.  Bobby built us a wonderful home and treated us like family during the whole process.  He was a very special man and we have thought of him fondly through the years.  Our deepest condolences go out to his family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was out of town from Friday until today taking care of a sick friend.

Tonight as I was reading the newspapers that came while I was gone I was deeply saddened to read about your beloved Bobby passing away.

Carolyn and Brenda...I just returned and saw the posting of Bobby's passing. I always enjoyed seeing him at Parade of Homes' events...he always could build my favorite houses! And it was always a joy to know that he was part of one of my favorite families! Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers..  Sheila

Bobbby and I were childhood friends.  We lived next door to each other in Greenwood Farms, went to the same schools, the same church, rode the same school bus, graduated together, and even shared the same birthday (although Bobby was a year older than me).  Once we even had a birthday party together.  Bobby was a gentle spirit and wonderful person.  After he joined the service we lost personal contact but kept up with each other through the rest of his family.  Carolyn, he will be truly missed by those of us who knew him for so long and were his friends.  His Christian lifestyle will continue to bless his family with memories that are special just as he was.

I was lucky enough to work with Bobby for 3 years at Hatchett Home Improvement.  He was always sincere, attentive, supportive, passionate, kind, and most of all, a great friend.  There will forever be a missing piece at Hatchett.  My deepest sympathies for all who knew and loved the wonderful spirit of Robert "Bobby" Williams.

Carolyn & Family - Thank you for sharing Bobby with us as we built our house 10 years ago. He (and Carolyn/Chris) made everything so enjoyable and of the highest quality. Bobby went above and beyond and you all became our friends. We have missed his smiling face, attention to detail and high integrity for everything he did. He will be very missed. Carolyn and Chris, and the entire family - It has been quite sometime that we have had the pleasure of talking with your family (Bobby and Chris) whom provided ua a great home and did additional work later.  Bobby was indeed a true gentleman and a kindly man who always gave us great advice and direction. I had the pleasure of working with Bobby at Parkview Supply Company. I have not talked to him or Carolyn in a very long time, but my prayerrs are with you Carolyn. May all of your happy memories help you and your family through this tought time ahead.

Bobby was without a doubt the most honest and sincere gentleman we have ever known.  We were so blessed to have him in our lives and will cherish all those thoughts and memories forever. Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. I am not sure what to say, but wanted to let you know I was thinking about you, your mom and sister, Kim, and the boys. Your dad was a great person.

Our relationship revolved around Williamsburg Country Club.  Bobby was a wonderful golf companion.  Courteously competitive, congratulatory when appropriate, always gracious, he was never rude or petty. It could be fairly said that he had a good heart.  It is ironic and extremely sad that that heart failed to treat him as well as it enabled him to treat others.  I am grateful to have known him.  Please accept my condolences.

Bobby was truly one of the finest men I've met my entire life. I first met Bobby when he was Director of Parks and Recreation for Hampton, and I was a lowly school teacher. I never heard Bobby say an unkind word about anyone, and folks should try to emulate Bobby's respect for others. This world will miss a very good guy.

Our deepest condolences go to the Williams family. Bobby and Carolyn were very dear neighbors when they lived near us in Willow Point.  Bobby was kind enough to help us out during the traumatic experiences of Hurricane  Isabel and other times.  He will be missed.
