Joe Marshall Houston

Joe Marshall Houston, 77, a native of Belton, South Carolina and over 20 year resident of Hampton died at his home Sunday morning, June 26, 2011. He served over 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, was stationed in Thailand and Bermuda and retired as a Master Sergeant from Langley AFB in May of 1976. After retiring he joined the civil service for ten years at Ft. Monroe.

Joe is survived by his wife Inge Houston; three brothers, Steve, Ralph and Tommy Houston; two sisters, Frances Hamilton and Faye Hayes and her husband Carl.

Friends are invited to visit Wed., June 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home in Hampton; where a Celebration of Joe’s will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., June 30. Interment with U.S. Air Force military honors will follow in Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens.
