Edith M. Jones

Edith was a long-time member of West Hampton Baptist and Hampton Roads Baptist Churches. She was much loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.

She loved her Lord, her children, and her grandchildren, and the newest lights in her life, her three precious great grandchildren born in 2020. We were inspired by her daily and her ability to fight through the difficult things that life would throw her way and still have a smile at the end of the day. We will take comfort with the years of wonderful memories.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Woody Jones and is survived by her children, Sharon Warren (Jerry), Danny Jones, Teresa Garcia (Doug) and Lisa Ryder (Don); grandchildren, Matthew Warren (Aga), Andrew Warren, Ryan Garcia, Alyson Conrad (Dave), and Jessica Liebeno (Alex); and three great-grandchildren, Jakub Warren, Vincent Conrad and Brynn Liebeno; three sisters, Helen Long, Shirley Glover and Barbara Epley (Don); one brother, Jim McKinney; one sister-in law, Michelle Blanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on July 16, 2021, from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at Parkview Baptist Church, 604 Hilton Boulevard with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be held at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
