Dr. William Robert Cornette

Dr. William R. Cornette DDS of Surry, passed suddenly on Friday 1/26/24. He is best known for his Dental and Business acumen in the Hampton area since 1980 as he founded several practices for which he derived great joy in serving his patients. Dr. Cornette had many interests earning him expert status most notably, in archery, deer and wildlife management, as well as land and wildlife preservation. He enjoyed world travel, exotic hunts and botany. Please join us in honoring Dr. Cornette as follows: A public visitation for Dr. William R. Cornette will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Liberty Live Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A celebration of life will occur Friday, February 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. An interment to follow the service will occur Friday, February 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. To families driving from outside of the immediate area, please be aware the James River Bridge will be closed on Friday, February 2, 2024.
