Donna Anita Adams Davis

Donna Anita (Adams) Davis, 77, entered Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She has been a lifelong resident of Hampton, attended Hampton High School, and is a member of Warwick Assembly of God Church.

Donna/Mom/Grandma has always been very active in the lives of her family and her church. She helped in the raising of a number of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, worked as a secretary for Faith Outreach Church for many years, and served as a Sunday school teacher.

Although greatly missed here, we are comforted knowing she is now healed and in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ along with her father, Donald Ben Adams, Sr; her mother, Margret Mabel (Cumbie) Adams; her brother, Donald Ben (Mickey) Adams, Jr.; and many other relatives and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert P. Davis of Hampton; her sister, Margie Goodwin and her husband, James of Carrollton; her sons, Chris Davis and wife, Nancy of Hampton, D. Mark Davis and wife, Chris of Costa Mesa, CA and Perry Davis and wife, Nancy of Winter Garden, FL. She has also been blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge all the support from family and friends, the excellent care by the staff of Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center and their Hospice service, along with a special recognition for the staff of Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg.

A memorial service will be held at Warwick Assembly of God Church, 1228 Todds Lane, Hampton on Monday, February 15, 2016, with family and friends meeting at 6:00 pm and service at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
