Bessie R. Taylor, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was a native of Shook, Missouri and a resident of Hampton for 50 years.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Roy L. Taylor; grandsons, Ricky Diehl and James Blount; sister, Jane McLean; and brother, Lee McCallister. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Taylor (Dianna) and Frank Taylor (Virginia); daughters, Suzann Hoopes (Jimmy) and Laura F. Blount (Robert); 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Helen Brennstall.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, April 16 at Parklawn Memorial Park.
