Agnes Marie Bullard

Agnes Marie Bullard (Marie), a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on December 4, 2024, in Hampton, Va. Born on March 29, 1956, in Newport News, Va, she was the beloved daughter of the late Curtis Edward Jones Sr. and Emily Garner Jones.

Marie was known for her warmth, kindness, and generosity—traits that endeared her to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. A natural cook, she found joy in preparing meals and always made sure no one went hungry. Her home was often filled with the delicious smells of her cooking, and she was quick to share a meal with anyone in need. Whether it was a family gathering or a friend stopping by, Marie made everyone feel welcome and loved, always offering something to eat and a place to sit. Her selflessness and unwavering love left an enduring impact on all who crossed her path.

Preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Marie is survived by her beloved husband, her remaining sibling, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Marie will be deeply missed, but her spirit and love will live on in the cherished memories of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will take place on December 20, 2024 at Saunders Road Church of the Nazarene at 3:00 PM, located at 126 Saunders Road, Hampton VA, 23666.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Saunders Road Church of the Nazarene.
