Shirley Jean (Holloway) Freeman

February 18, 1936 -October 31, 2024

Shirley Jean Holloway Freeman, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Hill Country Estates in Hico, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.

Shirley was born on February 18, 1936 in Hamilton, Texas to James Burt Holloway and Pauline Little Holloway. She married Harold Boone (Bud) Freeman in 1955 in Hamilton, Texas. Shirley was a telephone operator/clerk for many years and a bank teller for the remainder of her working life.

Shirley is survived by her children: Kim Raibourn and husband Dan of Hamilton, Dax Freeman and wife Jennifer of Graham. Three grandchildren: Russell Thames and wife Amanda of College Station, Cassidy Freeman of Glen Rose, and Madison Freeman of Stephenville. a step grandchild: Cory Raibourn and wife Stacy of Carlton, Tx; Two great grandchildren: Ryan and Nicolas Thames of College Station and three step great-grand children: Peyton, Masyn and Cotten Raibourn

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one granddaughter Sarah Freeman.

A visitation is scheduled on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton from 5pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an organization of your choice.
