Ronda Beth Baker

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronda Beth Baker, aged 51, on March 15, 2024. Ronda departed this life peacefully in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be forever cherished.

Throughout her life, Ronda was deeply devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Mary Beth (Cornell) Baker, and sisters Kimberly Lynn Baker Schnider (Vern) and Diana Baker Freeman. Ronda's affection extended beyond her immediate family to include numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Ronda was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Harlan Baker, whose memory she carried with her always.

Born on May 9, 1972, in Mineral Wells, Texas, Ronda was the embodiment of grace and compassion. She graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1990, and continued her pursuit of knowledge from Texas Woman's University in 2000, demonstrating her intellectual prowess and passion for lifelong learning. Whether instructing students or guiding inmates at correctional facilities, Ronda found fulfillment in fostering a love for learning in those she encountered.

Ronda was intentional about cultivating relationships, investing time and effort into nurturing the bonds she held dear. Her infectious, joyful laugh was a source of light and warmth, and was shared freely. In her presence, laughter flowed effortlessly, creating moments of joy in memories that will be cherished forever.

Ronda touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature endeared her to many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. Despite health challenges, she remained a pillar of strength and resilience, her spirit undimmed.

Ronda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a fiercely loyal fan of the Texas Rangers as well as Texas A&M University. Often, she could be seen adorned in clothing proudly displaying her devotion to these teams, a testament to her passionate spirit and unwavering loyalty.

As we bid farewell to Ronda, let us take solace in the knowledge that her memory will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she may be gone, her legacy of love, kindness, and integrity will live on in the lives she touched.

A service will be held on Saturday, March 23, at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church in Hamilton, 215 W Main St, 76531.

May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
