Levi Norwood Coker

Levi Norwood Coker, 7, of Hamilton passed away Sunday May 29, 2011. Funeral services will be held in the Chandler Craig Auditorium Saturday at 3:00 pm with Mr. Loren Quick and Mr. Silas Garten officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel cemetery under the direction of Riley funeral Home of Hamilton.

Levi was born February 8, 2004 to William Todd and Kathi Gowins Coker. Levi was always full of life and was truly a joy to his family and friends. He was a true “Cowboy” and loved to be outside playing and pretending. Levi was a first grader at the Ann Whitney Elementary School.

Survivors include: his parents, Todd Coker and Kathi Coker, a sister Jennifer Coker, his grandparents, John and Ginny Coker, Earl Gowins and his wife Delores, He is also survived by uncles, Dennis Coker and his wife Carla, Carlos Coker and his wife Melinda, Leslie Coker and his wife Davina, Jay Coker and his wife Sarah, Keith Gowins, Kevin Gowins, and Kurt Gowins, and cousins, Adam, Landon, Lillie, Autumn, Sydney, Garrett, Suzanna, Caleena, and Carson Coker.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Gowins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ann Whitney Elementary School to help with playground equipment.
