I will always have the greatest memories of Dorothy, and her wonderful family! The majority of those years were in Azle, Texas.  

My mom whom has also gone on to join our Lord and Savior Jesus in heaven was a genius, and she knew that the Bunch family would be good for me growing up.

 I’m now incredibly close with my Dad and a lot of that comes from the way I was raised around this incredible strong group of people.  In our family cousins was just a weird name for a brother or sister. I know Dorothy believed that and she always treated like us I we were one of her on own.

Ronnie taught me many of my first lessons in life of discipline and right from wrong , Her youngest son, Michael will always be considered one of my dearest friends in life, I was going through a lot of pain at that time, and needed a dear friend that made me laugh, and also taught me how to be a strong person.  Her eldest Ronald lee is one of the men that I mirror my life after both him, and Deborah was absolutely one of the strongest woman I knew in fact, she beat up my first bully and help me learn to defend myself by her courage and her tenacity.  All of them were the hardest working people I knew. So again lessons learned and work ethic. Thank You!

Btw, When Dorothy heard about the story of Deborah destroying the bully , she laughed so hard she could hardly contain herself. Because she knew Deborah and her shared a common courage. 

You see Dorothy not only brought love and compassion into my life at one of the scariest times of a young man’s upbringing she brought four strong survivor type personalities into my life that changed the course of my life forever. I think God every day for my multiple mothers like Dorothy whom my mom found to assist her in raising me and my sister Jennifer

I’m forever be grateful to Dorothy and the Bunches  for accepting me into their family.   I’ll always remember Dorothy’s laugh, and  praise God every day that I know her and her wonderful family

As I remember, Dorothy, I think about the secret sisters group at Thorp Spring Church of Christ. She was a leader of our group and just a joy to work with. She was very dedicated to her work and her family. I have missed her a great deal, since she became unable to continue with her work. My sympathies to the entire family. We continue to keep you in our prayers.

 There are no words that I can put together to pen and pencil as to what this woman has to my life....  Dorothy till we meet again,  hope you know how much your love means to me.  I know you will always be watching over us...   Good or bad you will always love us...💓

I met Dorothy in 1995. It was a start to a rocky  relationship, and over the years it changed into a closer relationship. Then she married my Daddy and this developed another type of relationship,
that required another change. I had to learn how to be a part of her life in a different way. No matter what she and I went through she always welcome me and hugged me every time I walked into their home. I always told every one about her warm heart. The last year allowed me to return the same love she shared with me. We built a relationship that is so special that I will cherish it and hold it close to my heart until we meet again. My most cherished memory was two days before she passed into heaven. She was very weak, but she managed to tell me she loved me. It will always be my best memory. There are many memories, we didn’t always get along, but the love was always the same. She had a heart of gold! I’ll miss her and our times together over the past year. Some were great, some were hard, and some were misunderstood. But I learned from every minute spent with her. Dorothy taught me a lot about love! I hope she knew how much I love her.  It was an honor to be a part of her life. She has no more tears, and no more fears. She finally got to go home. 

I met Dorothy when we were 15. We immediately became friends!! Ronnie and Dorothy married shortly after that. Although there was a small amount of time that two 16 year old girls fought , it didn’t last long!! A month after I turned 17 , I got married and Larry wanted to learn to play the guitar from Ronnie soThey became good friends too and we all were forever close!! We never lost that closeness !! I loved her as much as my other sisters! That was what she meant to me ! Later after Larry died and Robert and I married and she married Tim , we all became friends and often visited!! She was still my sister and I will always miss her!!! My heart goes out to her kids and her husband as I know each of you will always think of her missing her everyday!!! I love you all and I’m sorry I couldn’t come and be with each of you and the grandkids that I love too!!
