Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the age of 92. Loving husband of Marian; predeceased by first wife Jean (1989). Loved father of Judy and Daryl Ready, and Jane and Harry Miceli. Proud grandfather of Dan and Yasmine Ready; Matt & Jessica Ready; Allison Miceli; and Laura Miceli; great-grandfather to Aubree Ready and Laith Ready. He will be missed by sister-in-law Barbara Mitchell and step family David and Heather Morgan; John and Tammy Alexander; Elisha Morgan, Kaie and Kaleb Morgan; and Skyler Alexander. Bill was a long time employee of Bell Canada. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friends will also be received at St. Paul’s United Church, 42 Tragina Avenue North, Hamilton on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will follow directly at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Cremation to follow. Donations to St. Paul’s United Church or the Salvation Army would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
