Peacefully passed away at The Meadows Long Term Care at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Reta.
Wilfred will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Born in Waterloo, he moved to Hamilton in the early 1960’s where he spent his career working for Hamilton Hydro. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service. Wilfred was a model train buff and spent countless hours in his basement where he had his incredible set up. He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
