Peacefully, with her family by her side at the General Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Art (1992). Loving mother of the late Bob Mooney, Linda (John Hlohinec) and Dave (Karen Mooney). Proud grandma of Rich Landriault, the late Terri Brush, Michelle (Tom Kotyk) and Lisa Palmer (Mike Ault). Adored great grandma of Amanda (Daniel), Dakota (Ciarra), Emily, Mason, Megan, Brianna and Jacob. Cherished great-great grandma “Little Grandma Mooney” of Cole and Lincoln. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and especially her dear friend Audrey Gaffney. Shirley will be greatly missed by her extended family at Stoney Brook Apartments.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave E. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 5-8pm. Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Due to COVID 19, the family requests that guests please wear a mask.
