With profound sadness our family announces the passing of Bob on August 6, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Loving husband and best friend to Dorothy for 61 years. Proud and loving father to Kathy (Bob), Steven (Susan), Marty (Catherine), Craig (Heather) and Scott (Susan). Cherished by his grandchildren Rob (Sara), Jenn (Dallas), Matthew (Andrea), Caitlin (Nic), Alannah, Melissa (Andrew), Fionna, Nathan (Heather), Brandon, Jordan, Aidan as well as his great grandchildren Wynn, Vaughn and Adalind. Bob was a Proud Hamilton Fire Fighter who retired as District Chief after serving our community for 37 years. He was a kidney transplant recipient, an active volunteer, and member of the Retired Fire Fighters "Muffin Club". Visitation for Bob will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church (720 NinEth Avenue) on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
