Loving father of Greg (Karen), Kathy (Chris) and daughter-in-law Nancy. Predeceased by his son Glenn and mother Dorie Gamble “Nana”. Loving grandfather to Lindsay, Staci, Josh, Kate, MacKenzie, Andrew and Maggie. Great-grandfather to Brody and Wyatt. Loving Brother to Lynn Maslen (Geoff) and Irene Birch (Gary deceased). Roy retired from Stelco’s carpenter shop after 38 years. He was an avid golfer and a long time member and marshall at King’s Forrest. Roy lived a full life and will be deeply missed. Special thank you to the nurses and the entire staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre ICU for the kind care and compassion given to Roy. Cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
