Words can't describe how much my heart goes out to you all on the sudden passing of Mike.
I had the privilege of working with Mike at the City of Burlington for 16 years.   We worked side by side.
Mike started his day off with a smile and warm greetings for his coworkers and all the customers he met during the day.   His smile got bigger every time he talked about his son, Nate and the love of his life, Elaine.   
He will be extremely missed by us all.

Sending you my deep condolences on Mike's sudden passing.
His and my work cubicles were near each other in the Engineering Dept. at Burlington City Hall. Mike always entered the office smiling and was full of good cheer for all his coworkers, he never said a bad word about anyone.  He spoke glowingly of Nathan and his deep love and devotion for both Elaine and Nathan was obvious.  May you find comfort and strength in the memories you shared.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I worked with Mike at the City of Burlington for the last dozen or so years in the Development and Stormwater Engineering group, he was always a friendly face and always willing to share his knowledge, such a kind gentleman.   May all of your wonderful memories bring you comfort during this difficult time and in the future.

My heart goes out to you Elaine and Nathan and family at this very difficult time.  Mike and I worked together for the 16 years he was with the City of Burlington.  Our work stations were across from each other.  Mike always spoke fondly about his family and was so proud when his son was born.  He would tell me about the camping and fishing trips they would go on.  Mike was a hard worker and never complained about all the challenges he had with his position at the city.  I will always remember him coming into his work station with his baseball cap on.  I dealt with him almost every day with all the various tasks he did.  Mike will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him at the city.  My condolences to you all.
