With her family by her side, Mary passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Wife of the late John, who she dearly loved and missed. Mother of John (Susan), David, Patrick (Leslie), and Andrew (Diane). Predeceased by her son Eric, daughter Christine and son-in-law Dave Stevens, great-grandson Kane, sister Isabella "Jean", and brother John "Jack". She will be sadly missed by all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Graham (Norma), Margaret (Charlie), and Matthew (Virginia). The family wishes to thank the wonderful team at Heritage Green Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to Mary. A visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
