Mark Raymond McKenzie

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Raymond McKenzie announces his sudden passing on December 13, 2024, in his 71st year. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Betty. He is survived by his four children, Eshe (Shawn), Meaghan, Kenny (Taylor), and Sean and his brothers Michael (Karen), Marty (Mary), David (Paula), Paul (Wanda), and sister Nancy (David) and his many nieces and nephews.

Mark was recognized as an exceptional land surveyor, where he perfected his craft for over fifty years, owning Hamilton Regional Surveys for most of his career. He made life-long friends and colleagues through his work. Many of his family and friends recently gathered to celebrate his much-deserved retirement, where they shared stories and laughs with a grateful Mark. He was a dedicated member of the Hamilton and District Heavy Construction Association and was proud to serve as a Past President of the organization. Mark could be counted on as a loyal and supportive father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11am until time of the service at 1pm in the chapel. Cremation to follow.
