Leslie Bodo

Beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Fazekas) and dearly loved father of Brian, Brad and Carolyn, and Bob and Lee Anne. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Katelyn, Brandon, Brittany, Breanna, and Emma. Predeceased by brothers Louis and Brownie, sister-in-law Marianne, and brother-in-law Julius. He will be sadly missed by sister-in-laws Leona Moder and Tilda Bodo. Loving Uncle to Donna, Ron, Beth, Cole, and many other nephews, nieces, and cousins. Dear friend of Grace and George Meszaros.

Leslie was a retired teacher who taught for the HWDSB for 30 years and was a lifelong member of the John Calvin Presbyterian Church. He was a great storyteller and had a wonderful sense of humour which will be greatly missed. We are comforted that Leslie is finally at peace as he has been reunited with his loving wife and best friend in heaven after 27 years apart.

Visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St. E. (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) on Monday August 26, 2019 from 2 pm -8 pm. Funeral service at funeral home Tuesday August 27, 2019 at 11 am. As an expression of sympathy, donations to John Calvin Church Memorial Fund, Alzheimers Society, or any charity of your choice in memory of Leslie Bodo.
