Passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 12, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She leaves behind daughters Sue and Maria (Jeremy) and son Frank (Mayumi). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Hannah, Sarah, Lillian, James, Noah, Jonah and Joshua. Kata also left behind a brother Ivan and sisters Anica and Iva in Croatia and many more family and friends. A special thank you to her dialysis team for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 5-8pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Eugene's Church (Queenston and Parkdale) on Friday November 15, 2024 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the kidney foundation would be appreciated by the family.
