Janko "John" Radocaj

Passed away at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dragica (Carol) of 56 years. Loving father of Nancy Sardo (Joe), Theresa Grosvenor (Mike) and Frank (Brinella). Adored Deda to Anthony (Rebecca), Jorden, Nicholas, Michael and Aiden. Loved brother to his sisters Marica (Ljubo) Brcic, Danica (Franjo) Tomasic and Darinka (late Stanko) Petrovic, loved brother in law to the late John and Slava Borkovich of Sudbury, special uncle to many nephews and nieces and loving cousin to many more. Very special Kum to John Stipancic, Audrey Geist (Stipancic) and the late Josip Skrtic. Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Kata Radocaj. Janko was a retiree of Dofasco with over 30 years of service. He was always up for a cup of coffee and a talk with his family and many friends, or a relaxing sit down with his favourite Three Stooges Films or Croatian Videos and Music. The family will receive friends and visitors at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 9:30am. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
