It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen at the age of 97.
Predeceased by her husband Joe and her two brothers in Poland. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends here in Canada and in Poland. Helen loved gardening and feeding birds. She will be missed by all who knew her. Special thank you to the staff at Hamilton General Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital for their exceptional care and support.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, Hamilton on Saturday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
