Giuseppina Petta

PETTA, Giuseppina My beloved Wife, Mother and Nonna passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010. Giuseppina Petta, daughter of Giuseppe and Ida Pizzuti, born on March 10, 1938 in Carpinone, Italy, where she met her husband of 52 years, Nicola Petta. They arrived in Hamilton, Canada in 1958 as Newlyweds. Here in Hamilton they started their life together as husband and wife and mother and father. One year later they were blessed with their first child, Ida Kuruc, son-in-law Mico Kuruc, grandchildren Josie and Mark Kuruc. As ecstatic parents, their second child was born two years later, Dino Petta, daughter-in-law Carmela, grandchildren Nicolas, Natalie, and Lucas Petta. Three years later, proud parents of their third child, they were blessed with their youngest of the three, Luisa Kyriacou, son-in-law George Kyriacou and grandchildren Arianna and Mateo. Visiting will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Service Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Church on Thursday, July 8 at 1 p.m. Entombment, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
